Surf City Kiwanis sponsors the Key Club at Edison HIgh School in Huntington Beach. Key Clubs are designed to teach high school kids about the value of community service and to focus them on the positives surrounding them. Key Clubs get kids involved with many community service activities. Many Key Clubbers go on to leadership positions in the Key Club organization and assume leadership positions in other organizations and communities later in life. Our Key Club youth are very active in supporting projects such as the Surf City Marathon, the Special Kids Bowling Project and projects throughout the year benefiting CHOC (Childrens Hospital of Orange County).
